Dermaplaning is a highly effective, non-invasive treatment that removes the top layer of dead skin cells and fine, vellus hair, also known as “peach fuzz”, from the skin’s surface using a medical-grade blade.

A typical dermaplaning session lasts around 45 minutes. Results can last up to four weeks, and for optimal skin health and texture, we recommend scheduling treatments every 4-6 weeks.

Dermaplaning targets only fine, translucent vellus hair, which does not grow back thicker or darker. It will regrow as soft and fine as before, so you’ll enjoy the same results even with regular treatments. For darker or coarser hair, we recommend alternative methods.

What Happens During a Dermaplaning Session?
Your skin is cleansed, then a sterile surgical blade is gently moved across the surface at a shallow angle. This lifts away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, leaving skin smoother and better able to absorb skincare products. There is no downtime and no discomfort during the treatment.
